Protecting Your Health & Safety

We want you to be comfortable and confident when you visit us at River’s End Dental. While the world seems to have changed a bit, our commitment to your safety has not.

Infection control has always been a top priority for our practice, and you may have seen this during your visits to our office. Although, we have always practiced exceptional standards before Covid-19, we have made additional measures for your safety.

Our infection control processes are made so that when you receive care, it’s both safe and comfortable.

Our office follows infection control recommendations made by the:

  1. American Dental Association (ADA)

  2. The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)

  3. The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA)

We follow the activities of these agencies so that we are up-to-date on any new rulings or guidance that may be issued. We do this to make sure that our infection control procedures are current and adhere to each agencies’ recommendations.

You may notice some changes when it is time for your next appointment. We made these changes to help protect our patients and staff.

For example:

  1. Our office is digital so all updates, new patient forms, consents and a Covid screening questionnaire will be emailed prior to your appointment.

  2. We have hand sanitizer available when you enter the office.

  3. We take all patients temperatures upon arrival.

  4. All patients are required to wear a mask to enter the office.

  5. You will see that our waiting room no longer offers magazines, or children’s toys since those items are difficult to clean and disinfect. As always, we still have our Interactive Floor Projector and a huge TV up for entertainment.

  6. Although, you can't get in the fridge yourself right now, we still have complimentary cold beverages available upon request :)

  7. Appointments will also be managed to allow for social distancing between patients.

  8. We also do our best to allow greater time between patients. This reduces your waiting time and decrease the number of patients in the reception area.

  9. We have always and will continue to use devices that allow for removing aerosols.

  10. For increased safety we have installed air filtration units that can clear the air of particles smaller than a virus.

  11. And many other safety practices have been implemented.

Even with all of these changes, you will still notice that River’s End Dental is comfortable and inviting. We look forward to seeing you again and are happy to answer any questions you may have about the steps we take to keep you, and every patient, safe in our practice.

We are grateful to be able to continue to serve our community of friends and family. We can’t wait to make you smile!

Sincerely,

River’s End Dental
